According to TechCrunch , Google Meet started to appear within some Gmail accounts, which indicates that the integration between the services is, in short, becoming a reality.

“Google Meet, the video call service formerly known as Hangouts Meet, which was a branch of Hangouts, is finally making its debut on Gmail accounts,” said the blog.

With a capacity for more than 100 people, Google Meet will appear in the Gmail sidebar, where you can start a meeting and invite participants through a browser pop-up window.

Users can also join an existing meeting using a code provided, making it possible, for example, to join pre-scheduled meetings.

The company did not say when the integration will be completed, but you can sign in when accessing your Gmail account.
