Quarantine increases Tinder conversations

According to Tinder, a mobile dating platform available for Android, the last week of March resulted in the longest period of use of the app, totaling more than 3 billion swipes.

As parts of the world were quarantined, users started using the Passport function to get direct information from people in other countries.

Through the Passport, members can search by city or put a pin on the map of a chosen region, and thus start giving likes, matches and conversations with Tinder members who are at the chosen destination.

The rate of use of this resource increased by 15% in USA in the same period (while in Germany: 19%, France: 20% and India: 25%).
