Hot fix are minor updates which used to fixed the issue come up after final release of the product.
For SAS either you can get in touch SAS support to provide you the Hotfix of particular issue or you can directly download the Hotfix for the already identified issue.
How to apply Hotfix in SAS ?
Follow our Quick Guide to apply Hotfix in SAS
- Get the required SAS Hotfix either from SAS support or from Official website.
- Copy the Hotfix to below Path
C:\Program Files\SASHome94\InstallMisc\HotFixes\New
Note : Replace SASHome94 with whatever folder available in your System as this is version specific.
- Now Run the below Utility.
C:\Program Files\SASHome94\SASDeploymentManager\9.4\sasdm.exe
Note : This will required admin access.
- Once the Deployment Manager window appear choose Apply HotFix option and the browser the Hotfix Path.
- Then Click Next and in the End once the process completed Click Finish.
That’s it you have successfully applied HotFix to your SAS application.
