THE FIREFOX ADD-ON DOES NOT WORK AND YOU DON’T WANT TO RESET YOUR BROWSER SETTINGS?

I just had a case that Firebug just didn’t work. I do not know if this is his internal error or a matter of wrong browser settings, but after enabling the JavaScript console (which did not turn on anyway) I could not open the Firebug window. I uninstalled the add-on and reinstalled it – with no effect. At that time, I found that I would reset its settings via the “hidden” Firefox menu.

Enter the address in the box:

about:config

THE FIREFOX ADD-ON DOES NOT WORK

and click “I accept the Risk!” Or something like that in another language.

At the very top in the search box, type “firebug“. Everything that starts with extensions.firebug needs to be reset. Of course, do this only if you want to do a full reset. I didn’t even look at which record it was used for, so I reset everything generation after generation. The values you ‘modified’ are in bold and only can be reset because the rest is default.

Reset Plugin

So now you have a little click. Right click on each bold entry and click “Reset“.Once you do that, restart your browser and the add-on should work properly.
