Google Maps coming soon with private mode

Google Map will receive private

Incognito mode will be a new feature available in Google maps. Thanks to it, we will be able to hide not only your location but also the places we search for.

Incognito mode is a well-known tool often used in Google Chrome. Thanks to it, we can become “invisible” for the ubiquitous tracking algorithms for some time, which are just waiting to be shown to us, for example, next matching personalized ads.

Now the private mode will come to Google Maps allowing us to take a break from the eternally watchful “eyes” of the American giant.

What does this really give us? First of all, we can avoid linking the history of routes traveled to our Google account. Incognito mode will not only hide the places we have visited, but also the points we have searched in the browser. Of course, the application will still offer its current functions, but now it will not store any data.

On Twitter, Google gave a simple method to start private mode.

This one is to be launched already in the upcoming version of maps with number 10.26. Is there what to wait for?
