The Mozilla Firefox web browser version 69.0 is now available for download. The new build brings a lot of changes.
The main one applies to users using Mac computers. The browser will consume less power on configurations equipped with two graphics cards. All thanks to automatic switching to a more energy-efficient card when browsing WebGL-based pages. MacOS users will also get Firefox and Finder integrations.
People using Windows will receive performance improvements through streamlined process priority management. Firefox 69 will also bring support for the HmacSecret extension for Internet authentication.
Finally, it is worth mentioning the improved operation of the Adobe Flash Player plug-in. From now on, the software will be turned off by default and will only ask us for activation if it detects Flash content on the website.
Firefox 69 is now available on the manufacturer’s website.
