Although the option originally targeted only phones running Android 10, this feature was also offered to users using Android 9 in the latest update . - Open the Instagram app .
- Go to Profile .
- Go to Settings .
- Click on Themes .
- Select Dark Mode .
Other phones running Android 9 Pie that have implemented the Dark Mode option on the phone’s menu will be able to enable Instagram Dark Mode by following the steps in Android 10.
In this way, Instagram joins applications that already offer the Dark Mode option, such as Twitter , YouTube , Messenger or 9GAG .
