To make the whole task even easier, we have prepared a brief description of how to change the functionality of various buttons step by step. For this purpose, we will use the Button Mapper program , which can be found at the very bottom of the article, along with a list of similar applications. So let’s get started:
1. Install and open Button Mapper.
2. Accept the access that the application may request.
3. Choose which button you want to change (in the picture we have marked the Home button, indicating return to the main screen).
4. Now choose how to click the button. We checked Double Tap (double click).
5. A drop-down menu will appear that asks us what function we want to assign to the key. You can also choose the application shortcut, which we just did.
6. Now you can assign any application under your double click. For example, the camera to have quick access to it without having to unlock the phone or search for it on the screen.
7. Done! Unfortunately, you have to work out the rest of the buttons yourself if English is not your strong point. However, we believe that it will not be difficult.
