Step 1.
Put your cellphone or tablet in safe mode to prevent apps or Virus from acting. On most devices, you simply need to press and hold the Power Button until Reset to Safe Mode appears .
Step 2.
From the Settings menu, select Applications and make sure you are on the Downloads tab . If you are unsure of the name of the virus your cellphone was infected with, then browse to the list of any apps that you find odd or applications you don’t remember downloading.
Step 3.
Once you find the suspicious application, tap to open the application information and select Uninstall . This is the key step to get rid of Virus, except where the virus has disabled the uninstall feature by tearing the button . If you experience such a problem, go to the next step.
Step 4.
From Settings , select Security -> Device Administrators . Here you will find a list of your mobile or tablet apps with “admin” functionality . Just uncheck the box of the suspicious application and in the next window click Disable . Then go back to the previous step and uninstall the application.
All that’s left now is to restart your device and the virus will be removed. If at all risk you wish to get an app outside of Google Play, you can protect your mobile by downloading a security app .
