What is Sitemap ?

Sitemap is a file Which contain list of the web pages of your site to tell Google and other search engines about the organization of your site content. Search engine web crawlers like Googlebot read this file to more intelligently crawl your site and to index them on google.



So If your blog contains so many post and still not doing good then might be your is not properly indexed in Google.

For generating Sitemap for your Blog follow the steps given below :

• Goto http://ctrlq.org/blogger/

• Now paste the full URL of your blog for Ex https://www.yourblog.blogspot.com/
• Click on Generate button.
• Once it is generated for your blog you will see the below screen.

• Now Copy the XML Code generated.
• Signin in your blogger.com account.
• In right hand side Goto Setting > Search Preferences >Crawlers and indexing.
• Now Edit Custom robots.txt.

 

 

• Select Yes and Now Paste the XML Code and Click Save Changes as highlighted in the above image.
