How F Keys Work in Word

• F1 – Opens the help tab;
• F2 – Moves the selected word (select a word, press the F2 key, move the mouse pointer to the desired part of the text and click Enter);
• Shift + F3 – Changes the selected text to upper or lower case letters .;
• F4 – Repeat the last command executed;
• F7 – Check the spelling;
• Shift + F7 – Opens the thesaurus;
• F8 – When pressed twice, selects the last word. When pressed 3, selects the phrase. When pressed 4, selects the paragraph and when pressed 5, selects the entire text;
• F12 – Opens the “Save as” option.
