How to disable Google Photos
It’s easy to turn off backup and sync. Simply launch the Google Photos app on your phone or tablet. Then touch the menu icon in the upper left corner (three horizontal bars), and then tap the Settings icon .
You should see Backup and sync at the top of the list. Press it and then tap the switch to disable the service.
