How to read text from a photo on Android
The method is very simple, just download and install the applications on your device, and then choose the photo from which you want to read the text. Follow these steps to do it:
Step 1. Install the Text Fairy (OCR Text Scanner) application from Google Play.
Step 2. After installing, launch the applications on your device and then click ” Download Your Language” to download the English/Hindi language. Select English/Hindi from the list , then click ” Download” .
Step 3. After downloading the language, we can proceed to reading the text from the photo. We have two options to choose from, reading the text from the photo, which is already saved in the gallery or using the camera to take a new photo to read.
Step 4. If you have already selected a photo, select the exact text area in the photo that you would like to read, then select the language and click ‘ Start ‘.
Step 5. Reading may take a while depending on the amount of text in the picture. Then the read text will be displayed, which can be edited and copied to the clipboard to be transferred to another application or saved in PDF format.
That’s all! Of course, not always the text that will be read from the photo will be identical, as in the photo errors may appear.
