Is yout.com safe ?
The answer is yes yout.com is safe as the website doesn’t ask you for any personal details if you use in limitation.Through the Google search engine, the website shows a solid green check mark and as of now no one has reported to them that it’s unsafe. However, it’s not the same as YouTube. Just be aware of that. The website’s description calls it a ‘DVR’ for YouTube. As far as I know, downloading content off of YouTube that is not your own violates the Terms of Service.
So, yes, the site most likely has no viruses, and it should be safe to visit. I don’t know how long it’ll be running, though, as YouTube might take legal action against them.

How do I use Yout?
Simple, just search for something in the search bar, click your video, and then record it as a Mp3 (Audio), you can toggle to Mp4 (Video), or Gif (Image) if you want those instead.
You may also delete the “ube” out of the YouTube URL’s to record it.
Or, if you want to be old school, paste a link in the search bar. We can record YouTube, SoundCloud, and FaceBook

Yout.com is a free website that lets you easily download audio and videos from YouTube. Within the site you can choose to download only audio video in MP3 format or download video file in MP4 format. Despite being simple and fast, Yout.com does not allow the user to choose the audio or video quality to download. And it is only possible to download the content from Youtube.
Yout is the brainchild of @nader. What did he contribute? A good name to a problem we all have. With a sleek layout, that was designed by @Lou.
Is this legal?
In short, yes.
Every country has their own laws, but we are a DVR, that just so happens to take place on the internet. Based on the “Betamax” supreme court ruling on case “Sony Corp. of America v. Many sites on the internet offer YouTube video and audio download service, but few have the ease of changing the url and having access to the download. Yout.com allows the user to change the address of any video and download the desired audio or video. It is also possible to access the website of the service and insert the video url, in both cases the options offered are the same.
Within the site you can also check the list of videos related to the video we wish to download and the download options of .MP3 or .MP4. To download the user must click on the video play, choose the format and then click Record, the file is automatically downloaded to the computer. Although it does not offer content quality choices, Yout.com is a very practical solution. With a small url change you can access and download without much delay.
