Lots of peoples are reporting that after submitting the Contact form,they are geting an error message stating “There was an error trying to send your message.”

What’s wrong with contact 7 form. why it is not delivering the Contact Form message ?

In this post we are showing two methods to resolve the above error quickly.Now a day wordpress is getting popular day by day as it doesn’t require lots of coding to built the website.

And every website requires a contact form and if we talk about wordpress website then the Contact 7 plugin is the most famous plugin which is used by wordpress website to create contact form.

Generally  people installed the Contact 7 plugin and think it will automatically starts working as other plugins work but wait there is something you are missing with as we all know sending message requires communication email ID’s and we have not yet configured any mail id in Contact 7 form and when we try to submit the message through Contact 7 form we get the below message.

There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.

There are two reason that’s why you are getting the above error to get it resolve follow the step by step method.

Method 1

• Login into your wordpress admin.

• Click the Contact tab appearing in the left side.
• Hover the mouse on the Contact form In which you are getting the above error.You will the find the Edit option.

 

• Once you get inside the edit option then Click Mail Tab.

• Now you have replace the highlighted Mail ID with you email ID by default these are configured with wordpress@yourwebsite.com

 

• Now click Click the Save button appearing at the End of the Form.

That’s it. Now try to send the message through Contact 7 form.

 

Method 2

• If you have perform the above method and you are still getting the same error while sending message from Contact 7 form.
• This time you have login into your web hosting Cpanel and folow the steps.
•  Go into Email Section.

• Inside Email Accounts check whether you have created the Mail ID which you are using in your Contact Form if it Mail ID contains your domain Extension such as xxxx@yourdomain.com .

• If it is there then we are fine else you have to create Mail ID for you website for ex- info@trenovision.com,contact@trenovision.com etc.
• Once you are done with this section and still your Contact Form is not working properly then you have to registered the created Mail ID.
• For registering the Mail ID again open the Email option and then Click Registered Mail IDs.

• Once you are inside the Registered Mail IDs you will find the screen like below.

• Enter the Mail ID you have created and you are using in Contact 7 Form and then Click Submit button.
• Once you clicked on Submit button you mail id start appearing below in registered section.

That’s it you are done with all the configuration.Now you can start using your contact 7 Form without any Error.
