Some time ago I prepared a list of Top 5 Netflix series, i.e. series prepared for the Netflix platform or available only on this website. Today I have another Top 5 for you, but this time I took into account all the series that can currently be seen in the service.

It shows America completely different from the one we know from Hollywood productions. A dirty, grim, full of crime, drugs and money power, stripped of the American dream of success. Walter White is a high school chemistry teacher who has been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. To pay for medical treatment and leave some money to his family, he goes to the criminal dog. It turns out that he can produce methamphetamine of such quality that the entire drug world around is shocked.

The first season of Stranger Things delighted with freshness and references to such iconic films as ET and Goonies. And although the next two seasons were not so good, they still hold a level that many other paintings can only envy. USA of the 1980s. In the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, twelve-year-old Will Byers, who the whole area is looking for, disappears in mysterious circumstances. At the same time, a girl appears with mysterious supernatural powers. I don’t want to do anything to anyone, so I’ll stop there. Stranger Things is a visual feast, a musical gem and a ton of humor. A mix that makes it one of the best series of recent years. And also available only on Netflix, for which it was created.

When the world loved the Game of Thrones, I watched the Vikings. The Canadian-Irish spectacle made for the History television channel debuted in 2013. He talks about Scandinavia at the end of the 8th century, centered around Ragnar Lodbrok, one of the Vikings who is fed up with the rule of local Jarl Haraldson. It was Ragnar’s determination that caused the Vikings to discover foreign lands, which with a smile on their lips plundered bringing valuable spoils home. Addictive, well-realized story of the family, whose head appears as a thoroughbred Viking, completely devoted to tradition and Scandinavian gods. I think that when it comes to such atmosphere, you won’t find a better series.

American animated series intended for adults. At first glance, it seems to be a parody of the cult film trilogy Return to the Future and all in all a very good association. It is a story about the adventures of an eccentric scientist Rick Sanchez and his grandson Morty. They both travel to other distant galaxies and alternative realities. Dark humor in this series will never be missing and really goes off the sides during the screening. And even a strange, not very nice line does not bother, because it is a great and addictive series.

House of Cards has been the calling card of Netflix for years. A story about American politics and the chair of the US President, realized with great momentum. Plots, conspiracies, political games, a great role of Kevin Spacey, who plays Senator Frank Underwood, who doesn’t care about a politician who will do anything to stay in power. One of the characteristic features of House of Cards is the so-called demolition of the fourth wall, i.e. the conventional border separating actors from the audience. This allows you to get even more into the story of the screen. And getting in the House of Cards is definitely worth it, maybe off the last season.

In my opinion, Netflix is a very good place to watch even older series, due to several issues. A nice exclusive production catalog which I talked about during one of the previous films, as well as a great application for a whole lot of platforms or offline mode thanks to which you can download series to the memory of a mobile device and watch them where there is no access to the Internet.
