The Xiaomi held an event on Monday (27) to announce the launch of the MIUI 12 and its new features . In addition to the news, the company also announced that the distribution of the beta version starts today in China, as well as a preliminary list of smartphones that will receive the update.
Users interested in downloading the first beta can sign up today on the manufacturer’s website. The release of the stable version is scheduled to start in June and will be divided into three lots.
In this first batch of update, thirteen smartphones will receive MIUI 12. The list released by the manufacturer brings a total of 42 devices. It is worth noting that both the list and the distribution date of the stable version are valid for China, and that the global release should be announced later.
Among the novelties, MIUI 12 brings a sleep monitor and new privacy and fitness features, interface changes to a visually cleaner model, new animations and navigation gestures and much more.

List of compatible smartphones
Xiaomi will begin distributing MIUI 12 from June, but the two subsequent batches have not yet released their dates. It is worth remembering, again, that the global launch will still have its date released by the manufacturer.
The beta version, which can be downloaded from today via OTA (over-the-air), will be available to selected users in China. It is also worth remembering that the following list is preliminary, so it may change with the addition or removal of other smartphones.
