How to find the ip address on the router
First, open a command prompt, press Windows and R together and type ‘ cmd ‘, and then press Enter .
Then type ” ipconfig ” and press Enter . You will see a list of network adapters on your PC. You need to look near the Default Gateway . This is the IP address of the router.

Now open a web browser and enter the number from the Default gateway in the address bar, then press Enter . Do not type http: // before the IP address.
In rare cases, you may need to add a port at the end, but most home routers will not need this.
You should now see the router login screen, enter your username and password for login, and then make changes to the settings.
Reset your router password and username
If you forgot your router’s username and password, you will need to reset it to the factory settings. This is usually accomplished by pressing a button or inserting a toothpick into a hole behind the router.

Change the password to the router
Open the web browser and enter the IP address in the address bar and press Enter . Then enter your username and password on the login page.
Click Management -> Access Control -> Password on the left-hand page and type old and new passwords.
