Halloween 2016
According to Google, Halloween Doodle brought Momo, a kitten whose mission is to rescue his school of magic.
“Help him to expel mischievous spirits, passing the shape of the symbols above the ghosts’ heads. And you better attack fast – the ghost who stole the master spell book is on the run! ”Says the company.
The game includes five levels set in a school setting: library, cafeteria, classroom, gym and the roof of the building.
A curiosity is that the kitten Momo, portrayed in the game, exists in real life and belongs to Doodler Juliana Chen, who developed Doodle at the time.
Original idea for Doodle
The original concept of the game involved a magic cat making soup so good it raised the dead, but Google gave up on the idea.
“Connecting the soup to Halloween proved to be very abstract, so the team switched to the idea of a witch school. This opened the door to a more robust world, full of interesting characters and some themes ”.
