How to install WhatsApp on Android tablet
Open Settings Security and enable ” Unknown sources “. This allows you to install apps outside of Google Play and is by default disabled for your security. We recommend that you disable this setting after installing WhatsApp.
Launch your browser and look for WhatsApp APK . You can click on any of the search results, one result would be androidapksfree.com
Scroll down and click the download link for the latest version of the WhatsApp API file. Note that there will probably be ads displayed on the download page, so make sure you select the correct source.
Wait a while to download the APK file, then drag down the notification bar at the top of the screen and select the notification that the APK file has been downloaded. Then follow the instructions to install the application and then open WhatsApp.
You will be greeted with the Welcome to WhatsApp family screen . Touch the ” Agree and Continue ” option . If you see a pop-up that tells you that tablets are not supported, click OK. Select the country and enter a valid phone number that is not already used by another WhatsApp account, then press Next , and OK .
How to Verify the number ?
WhatsApp typically sends a text message to that phone number that contains a verification code, which it will automatically detect and insert for you. This will not happen, as your tablet does not have a SIM, to check the phone number choose Call me .
Answer the phone and enter the six-digit verification code given to you, then follow the setup instructions and then use WhatsApp on your tablet.
Launch the app and enter the names and numbers of the people you want to contact using the WhatsApp app.
From time to time, the WhatsApp application requires updating and the application installed on the tablet will no longer work. Because it has been installed outside of Google Play, it will not be automatically updated. Instead, you will need to look for the latest version of the APK file and reinstall it again.
