How to turn off displayed on Facebook

As we all know, Facebook, regardless of our decision, automatically displays a message about reading the message to the person who sent it to us. However, not everyone would like the person sending us a message to know if we read the message or not.

Facebook does not allow you to disable this option in any way. Fortunately, there is another trivially simple way by which we can read the messages freely without informing the addressee.

Google Chrome

Step 1. Install the Facebook Unseen add- in by clicking Add to Chrome .

Step 2. Then click Add Extension .

Step 3. After installing the plugin will turn on automatically.

Mozilla Firefox

Step 1. Install the Facebook Unseen add- in by clicking Install .

Step 2. The plugin, as in the case of Google Chrome will be enabled automatically after installation.

Other browsers

If you use a different browser, all you have to do is block the following URL:

facebook.com/ajax/mercury/change_read_statusphp $xmlhttprequest

This can be done in any program that allows URL blocking. This is even possible in AdBlock, but most anti-viruses can easily handle it.
